Arnold Coffee

Arnold Coffee comes from the dream of an Italian frequent traveler and American coffee lover: Alfio Bardolla the “coach”. Italy is actually one of the few countries in the world where you will not find a Starbucks shop as the proud Italian people still say “they do it better” (the coffee) and this explains the lack of true American coffee shops around the entire country, including the little “cosmopolitan” Milan. The “locals” are a bit “complicated” about it: they want it short, long, with foam, deca, barley, big cup, in a glass, shaked … but if you fancy something “easy” like at home, then  Arnold, a few steps away from the Duomo Square, is the undisputed american specialist in town. A young, cozy, international location where indulging with american coffees, capuccino specials, italian chocolate and a number of sweet temptations such as cookies, cupcakes, muffins, donuts, waffles, pancakes, cheesecakes, apple pies, bagels and salads (this last for the good guys). A free and well performing wi-fi will paste your “S” to the stool preventing you to go away (a friend told us he found his new gf exactly there … from a coffee to a date … the gap is very short ).

Don’t call it “fake Starbucks” please… Arnold has the right “attributes” to claim its own strong personality. It’s also “pet friendly” (as many other “traditional” local shops are not) and for this reason we are glad to award our “golden paw” for “innovation and courage”. Small but PAWesome … Arnold is the living example that the world can change … thanks DOG … in better !
