DON’T SAY “POLPETTA” IF YOU HAVEN’T BEEN AT CICCILLA
Welcome to the kingdom of “polpetta”, the traditional, greedy, irresistible meat, fish, cheese, veggies “balls” made of fresh, typical and seasonal ingredients.
Though Ciccilla is meant to be a take away place, you will have the chance to sit down (a few tables and stools are available) and enjoy your polpetta in a colorful, simple, funny, “pet friendly”, well managed and mannered place (note that no table service is provided). The offer is big and tempting and making a choice will be a “little bit complicated” … that’s why you will go back to Ciccilla several times (as it happened to us) before declaring the polpetta’s armistice. Its location in the heart of Milan, as well as its “wallet-friendly” prices, will give you a good excuse to crush into Ciccilla at least once a day.
Probably at your first round you won’t be so brave to order the “seaweed polpetta” but … bold or not … put it in your “travel plan list” and go back when you have the “balls” … sorry, i mean … when you want to eat the seaweed “balls”…
Although the traditional polpetta is made of meat … you’ll find a wide selection of vegetarian, cheese and veg balls … no one is gonna be disappointed under this point of view … including your furry boys and girls who will definitely get “high” by smelling the succulent production of the house (thus if you are a good dad or mum, don’t be too selfish and spare a little bite for them as well). Ciccilla is PAWesome, don’t miss it and give it a go a.s.a.p !
