Nestled as a gem in a handsome corner in the heart of Milan, inside the suggestive building of Gallerie d’Italia, deCanto is a very surprising “pet friendly” place, often unknown by the locals themselves. The reason is very simple: you would not imagine to find a coffee bar, a restaurant, a bookshop, a summer garden and a museum by entering “that door”. So …if you are strolling around Via Manzoni after a tiring shopping session at Quadrilatero or you are just roaming around the Galleria and La Scala Square, this is definitely a place to stop and give yourself the opportunity of a relaxing moment. A warm and friendly all day kind of space where it’s easy to “lose” a couple of hours with a newspaper or chatting with your “6-legged” travel mates. The wooden made interiors, the big window permitting you to peep (free of charge) inside the museum, the special selection of coffees (as well as a good wine list and a decent food menu), the “wallet-friendly” prices (don’t forget you are less than 10 seconds away from the Galleria … where prices are “just a little bit” pumped up) and the staff kindness are definitely suggesting to pay a “6-legs” visit … while waiting the official Milanese art and culture opens its door to our furry friends, as many other innovative cultural institutions around the world have already done … thus giving a real example of PAWsitivity and showing that “DOGether we can” make a better 6-legged world!
