Galleria

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the world’s oldest shopping mall. Its nickname is “Salotto di Milano” (parlour of Milan) due to its importance as a common Milanese meeting point and dining place. It is (actually it was) also famous for hosting some of the oldest shops and restaurants in Milan.  Covering the streets connecting Duomo Square to La Scala Theater, it can be considered the heart of the city, a place of transit for busy managers, a stop for enchanted and curious tourists, a shelter from sudden rain and a must for a picture. Don’t forget to post your best PAWtographies on our Facebook page.  Get the chance for a simple stroll, a little break for a coffee, enjoy an “aperitivo”, have dinner after the opera, indulge in luxury shopping in some of the most prestigious brand shops … whatever you decide to do, entering the Galleria is always a great spectacle. Its magnificent arches with the elegant ceiling of iron and glass will surely take your breath away. The tradition suggests that you have a spin with your heel on the mosaic bulls “attributes” if you wish to return to Milan (as a result of this, a deep hole has formed in the pavement). A stunning place to walk your furry friends and do not forget the potty picker.
