Maido !

Maido! is the the first Asian restaurant serving okonomiyaki in Italy, a typical Osaka street food, also called “Japanese pizza”. It is a little, cozy, charming, alternative and “easy” restaurant. The concept is basically take away but with a few tables, chairs are bar stools, kitchen is open style (so that you can sit, eat and admire the chef in “action” with the traditional kote).

If you are looking for something different from sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen then you are in the right place. The specialty of the house is a type of strange omelette, a huge Japanese savory pancake called Okonomiyaki, a healthy and tasty mix of eggs, cabbage and flour along with cheese, vegetables, meat or shrimp according to taste … “as you like” (this is the Japanese meaning for Okonomi). Oh .. not forget to mention … they also have some Japanese beers, and “sake” which you can also order by glass  … for sure it makes you curious to try!

Prices are pretty reasonable, the service is very kind and the location is “pet friendly”. We couldn’t ask any better …

Welcome to Maido (which means “always” in English); Milan is always waiting for you … DOGether with your inseparable pooch!
