Maison Borella

Overlooking the Navigli of Milan, Maison Borella is a 4-stars hotel located in an ancient balustrade house. Some people call this area “the Venice of Milan” as there is a canal and a lot of different bars and restaurants, a very “happening” district especially during the summer nights.

This hotel is also a fully “bark friendly” one, that means all dogs are accepted, any breed any size, though they are not allowed to enter the restaurant area. For sure you do not fancy leaving your furry friend alone in the room while you having breakfast by yourself … then you can get the chance to stroll around in the morning DOGether to get coffee and croissant (apart from a few exceptions, you will be welcome in every place) … another way to “be a local” and “blend” with the locals. It is really recommended to explore this area as you might find many nice “surprises” in terms of food, drinks, alternative shops, also the “crowd” which is pretty interesting and colored. You can easily find English speaking “camerieri” (waiters) almost everywhere … then … give it a go.

As a tourist, for sure you don’t want to carry too many things hence you can leave your “doggy kit” at home as it is provided by the hotel, totally free of charge! Just to let you know, in some booking sites they say Maison Borella is not pet friendly, but we already “tested” it to make sure it is a real “pet friendly” one.

If you have already “switched off” your brain (you are on holidays aren’t you?), or you’re too lazy to move your “S” to get the reservation ticket to Teatro Alla Scala, other performances or museums, you can count on the active and reliable concierge.

Talking about museums, we would like to remind you that “culture” in Milan is not pet friendly at all (what a pity…).  If you need any valuable support to manage your “little monster” just CLICK HERE and book your personal dog sitter. Choose the pick up and drop off location, the time you prefer, tell us any special needs. You will be able to plunge into culture while your furry friend is having great time at the park with a new 2-legged friend. Isn’t it this PAWesome ???

What else? At Maison Borella you will also receive a free “doggy kit” (bag, travel bowl, snack and gadget) offered by Forza 10 (sponsor of Let’s Travel DOGether). Another good reason to give it a go!
